I am an American Jewish woman who has been advocating for a shared Jerusalem and a two-state solution for twenty years. My heart is torn and I often feel hopeless, yet I know we must persevere. Our tears must propel us to seek our common futures, to use the best of our cultures to inspire us towards loving coexistence.
